Hidey Ho Bento Neighbors! I hope today’s post finds you all well on this Wednesday. Today’s bento was packed this morning. The pork tenderloin was half defrosted in the microwave quickly allowing me to cut it up and get it into the box. Then, I steamed the sweet potato and green beans while I got ready for work. Just before those were finished, I cut up the fruit and veggies. Packed it all up and I’m ready to go to work. Here’s today’s bento:

This bento contains: roasted pork tenderloin, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrot & cucumber “salad”, a piece of rolled up ham, dressing for the veggies, mandarin oranges with apple slices below that.
I’m really looking forward to this bento. It’s making me hungry already!
On a side note, the off-kilter picture format comes from reading Adventures in Bentomaking. Check out this recent post. Now, I am not an egg salad fan. But the way that picture is taken, not to mention the loveliness of the bento, makes me want to gnaw at my computer screen to get at that lunch! <sigh> I love this woman’s lunches. They often look bright and cute and oh-so-delectable.
That’s all for now folks! Hopefully, I’ll “see” you tomorrow.
I’ve been wondering about your pictures. On my screen they make your box look HUGE and ginormous but then I think it’s the angle and the picture and that the box must be the same size as mine. Any idea how many ML yours are? Thanks
Yvo: I would have to go back and look at the ml on this square box, but I remember when I purchased it that it was really close in ml to the little oval 2-tiered boxes that are so popular. It is a Lube Sheep product. The food shots tend to look a bit bigger due to the camera settings and lens I’m using. I normally set my camera to macro (close-up) shots, so I can get some detail on the food. B/c I’m obsessive like that.
